Random Fall Days

Fall means a trip to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch.  We have a great time…but I don’t understand how people go back enough to buy a fall pass.  We had a fun time and came home tired and dusty.  I wish there was some way for my sister and nieces to come and spend the day with us here.  And for my brother and sister in law to come, too.  Time to invent a telaporter.

Fall means…pumpkins at the grocery store…for posing, never for purchasing, not until the day before Halloween…IF I decide to be a good mother and buy some to carve.  That doesn’t happen too often.  Pumpkin guts…yuck.

Ethan can be so cute.  Here he is building a porch for Bonkers, his monkey (seen in the picture).  Bonkers goes with us to a LOT of stores.  Surprisingly, Ethan is much better behaved in the stores with Bonkers in tow, so he is allowed.  However, no matter how much Ethan begs and cries and throws a fit…I refuse to buy Bonkers his own Lunchable, drink, cookie, whatever.

(Please note, that is a DADDY tiger with his BABY son watching Ethan build.  They are good at watching Ethan build)

I am glad we caught this moment…stair steps.  If we are lucky, one day these boys will be taller then me.  I say “lucky” because Bart and I are the same height and Mr. Ronnie (Bart’s dad) is kind of on the smaller side.  However, there are lots of taller people in our family the boys can hope to take after.  So far they have been taller then most of the kids their age.

And that is just a little bit of our fall so far.

How about Jason and Morgan and me and Mama? We don’t want to be left out!

Well, y’all can all come…but if Jason only gets a few off days, then he should save them for Thanksgiving. 🙂
